Dalmis ... The
... at the Westminster Kennel Club show I've ever seen - and must confess that I was contrary to my expectations but quite impressed.
The American Dalmatian breed I'm always been very skeptical about, especially since the blue-eyed breed with dogs was allowed - and still is.
Because I had the opportunity to go into the "benching area", I had the opportunity to meet some dogs really, but to talk with the breeders.
first I was impressed by the nature of dogs: it did have all the boxes with exhibitors, but the dogs were all heraussen.
Es fallen mir im European space hardly Dalmis (unfortunately including our own) that have such great angles - and had almost all of the 21 issued Dalmis!
Also I seen a single Dalmi with skin problems ...
Getting to know these dogs, the talks with breeders and owners, let me once again consider whether to regulated the breed as it is usual for us, really makes sense. Once again, I have the experience that the breeder can work independently to improve the breed really ...
Simple example: none of the breeder, talk to whom I could breed with blue-eyed dogs - although it is allowed ... as well as HD-Roentgen and AEP are made. But just everything independently and without dictatorial important artist ...
Now I only hope that my photos are some useful success.
"Daisy - GCH Blackthorn Flower Power", it is well known that I have with the Dalmis a pronounced weakness for brown. I had Daisy, although "only" spotted schawrz, packed best. Unfortunately the quality of the photos leaves much to be desired - but I work about to get a photo that Daisy will better serve :-)
